Exmoor Rangers' Favourite Walks
Exmoor is the “friendly” moor, and although there are spectacular views to be obtained from the beaten track, the moor’s most attractive moods are saved for those who venture a little way from the roads.
The aim of this guidebook is to tempt you to sample the tranquillity and natural beauty which are special qualities of the National Park. Visitors often wonder what is behind the beech hedgebanks that line the roads. Here is your chance to find out and to enjoy the wildlife and peace that can only be found by leaving the car behind.
The twenty-five walks are all circular, vary from 2 to 8 miles in length and cover most parts of the National Park. Colour sketch maps enable users to get the most out of the fantastic walking experience that the National Park has to offer.
