The Cookies We Set
- We set what is known as a session cookie - this stores information as to how the site is used. The session cookie contains a secure anonymosed string which temporarily allows the server to recognise the user’s computer. This permits users to login, use the shopping cart and maintain view preferences (items per page, sort order etc.). Session cookies are deleted as soon as you quit the browser (i.e. ending the 'session'). No directly identifiable data is written to your computer.
